This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA frame 182, and T-frame style. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
