This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, preventing fluid contact with the internal shaft assembly. This configuration supports a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI and utilizes a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal. The casing incorporates a replaceable wear ring to sustain hydraulic performance over time.
The assembly utilizes a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, configured for a 200-230V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
