This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 7-1/4" nominal bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly is supported by a bearing housing with sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes flush seal line taps for maintenance.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
