This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. The hydraulic assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing and a top center line discharge. It also includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and is configured with a 213 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is provided via an across-the-line configuration. The unit has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.89.
