This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 284T frame. The motor is TEFC, configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. It is designed for 40°C ambient operating temperatures and utilizes across-the-line starting.
