This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. This motor is configured in a 215 JM frame with feet and supports 230-460V/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87. It operates in a CCW rotation and conforms to NEMA standards.
