This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure with no drip cover. The motor is rated for 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor is designed for a 40°C ambient environment and counter-clockwise rotation.
