This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and cover with a 9-1/2" stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber components. The pump is rated for clean water up to 300 °F and includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC WEG motor configured with a 213 JM frame and feet. It operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This unit is configured with an across-the-line starting option and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.87. The top center line discharge design assists in piping installation and pump venting.
