This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design, which includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. It is configured for a 200/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.85.
