This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal prevents leaks at the shaft interface. This pump operates at a pressure rating of 125 PSI. It is constructed using heavy-duty sealed-for-life bearings within the bearing housing to provide long-term serviceability.
The 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and receives power via a 380-460V / 3PH electrical supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
