This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It utilizes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly includes grease-lubricated bearings housed within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 284TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods-style coupler connects the pump to the motor for across-the-line starting. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
