This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent system fluid contact and includes flush seal line taps for potential filter installation. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting and piping alignment.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor, which meets MG1-12.55 standards. This TEFC motor is configured with a 254 JM frame that includes feet and supports a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
