This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction, and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply using across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
