This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This design maintains a 250°F temperature rating and utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. It includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power requirement is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, using an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is equipped with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89 and operates in 40°C ambient conditions with CCW rotation.
