This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump features a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 213 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is achieved through an across-the-line option. The unit features a counter-clockwise rotation and a PEI value of 0.92.
