This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ports, as well as ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration. The rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 254 JM frame style with feet, and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is configured for across-the-line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature.
