This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F in clean water service. The design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 150 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 445 T-frame. It is configured for 460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS SGR with an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a standard Woods flexible coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
