This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluids. Servicing is supported by a rear pullout design and an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps to accommodate an optional filter.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and uses a counter-clockwise rotation. The top center line discharge design assists in simplifying piping layouts and promotes self-venting.
