This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges, and the unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 184 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. This unit features a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
