This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is constructed without a wear ring and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to monitor system pressure.
This pump operates at 1450 RPM and is configured with a NEMA 182 T frame motor for 50Hz operation. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. The connection between the pump and motor uses a Woods coupler, which is protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly achieves a PEI value of 0.94. This unit features sealed-for-life bearings within a cast iron bearing housing.
