This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly consists of a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It uses a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, providing compatibility for fluid temperatures reaching 250°F.
The unit operates at 1450 RPM and is driven by a 30 kw Marathon motor in an IEC 200L frame. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with IP55 protection, IE3 efficiency, Class F insulation, and a Class B temperature rise. It is configured for a 415/50/3 power supply with WYE Delta starting. The pump assembly is foot-mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration maintains a 1.0 service factor and operates in ambient temperatures up to 50°C.
