This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes a NEMA 213T frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. The system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.91. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature.
