This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal that includes a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This unit is suitable for operation with clean water at temperatures up to 300°F.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 125 HP WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure. The motor is housed in a NEMA 444 T-frame and operates on 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler with a guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the assembly includes greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing at the NDE. This unit has a PEI value of 0.93.
