This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a 254 JM frame style with feet and accepts a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line, and the unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
