This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
The assembly operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features a TEFC NEMA 326 T frame enclosure and is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit functions in a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
