This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 213 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a PEI rating of 0.94. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump utilizes a Woods coupler for the motor connection.
