This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 10" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a NEMA 213 T frame and a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler, which is covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. The unit meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
