This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to protect the pump components. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, utilizing a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration requires a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame features greasable bearings.
