This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The assembly operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 200V, 60Hz, 3PH Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods standard coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit has a PEI of 0.88.
