This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH power and utilizes a NEMA 184 T frame. This pump features across-the-line starting and uses a Woods coupler within a standard coupler guard. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. This assembly complies with NEMA standards and maintains a PEI value of 0.94. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding.
