This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal featuring a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft.
The unit is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame style with a TEFC enclosure, rated for 230-460/60/3PH operation at 1750 RPM. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump incorporates greasable bearings and is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.9. It operates with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation.
