This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and supports the installation of a filter to protect the seal from non-condensable particles.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump is configured for across the line starting and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
