This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supports temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and piping layout.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a 184 JM motor frame style with feet. The motor is NEMA standard and features premium efficiency in compliance with MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and achieves a DOE PEI of 0.9. The starting option is across the line, and the rotation is counter-clockwise.
