This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design featuring a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes integrated pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP WEG TEFC motor within a 365 NEMA frame. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
