This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover with a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This model operates at fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump is configured with a 40 HP Baldor motor and operates at 3450 RPM. It features an ODP enclosure, a JM motor frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirement is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency MG1-12.55 requirements with a PEI value of 0.94. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and CCW rotation. This configuration supports across-the-line starting and utilizes a rear pullout design for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
