This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting.
This unit is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is configured for 40 °C ambient temperature, meets NEMA standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump maintains premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93. Rotation is counter-clockwise.
