This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a dry shaft design. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 182T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.86.
