This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor. This unit is configured for a 40°C ambient temperature.
