This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal includes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are located on both suction and discharge connections for monitoring purposes.
This unit is powered by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the motor and pump. This equipment has a Department of Energy (DOE) Pump Energy Index (PEI) rating of 0.91.
