This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 213 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply, featuring Across the Line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This unit provides a PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
