This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a stainless steel NSF61 impeller with a nominal diameter of 7-1/4". It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 143T frame with an ODP enclosure. This unit operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power and utilizes an across the line starting configuration. It is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.81.
