This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes a flush seal line tap to support maintenance.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7 1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with a standard across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
