This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge facilitates self-venting.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses a JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA standards for premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. This model maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.87 and is suitable for clean water applications.
