This centrifugal end suction pump integrates a class 30 cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Sealing is managed by a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal rated for 250°F. The construction incorporates a replaceable bronze wear ring and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI.
The pump operates with a 7.5 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, utilizing Aegis grounding on a 200-230V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
