This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. Suction and discharge connections include pressure tappings, and the assembly features flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting the pump.
This pump is powered by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 254 JM frame with feet. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is designed for operation at a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a certified PEI of 0.89.
