This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, shielded from circulating fluids by a dry shaft construction. Fluid sealing is provided by a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber components. This assembly maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI and incorporates a wear ring within the center-line discharge casing for positive air venting. The unit functions without internal contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, utilizes Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
