This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor in a 286T NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 380V/60/3PH power and utilizes an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and is connected to the motor by a Woods coupler inside a standard coupler guard. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and standard counter-clockwise rotation.
