This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The assembly features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the unit is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 286 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The unit has a PEI of 0.93, and the starting option is configured for across-the-line operation.
