This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel NSF61 impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents fluid contact with the shaft, while integrated AEGIS shaft grounding protects against electrical discharge. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Standard equipment includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps to allow for the installation of filtration devices.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design, which allows for servicing without disturbing system piping. This model has a DOE pump energy index (PEI) of 0.87.
