This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and an 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings, and the design allows for servicing the mechanical seal without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 150 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 445T frame. It utilizes 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The unit features greasable bearings, an insulated non-drive end bearing, and an AEGIS SGR. The motor is a Baldor premium efficiency unit meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a standard Woods coupler with a guard. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
